R Rajasudhakar is an Associate Professor in Speech Science in the Department of Speech-Language Sciences. He completed his Bachelors in Speech and Hearing and Masters in Speech-Language Pathology in All India Institute of Speech & Hearing, Mysore during 2003 and 2005, respectively. His doctoral thesis was carried out under the guidance of Dr S R Savithri (Former Director of AIISH, Mysore) that quantified the prevalence of vocal fatigue symptoms in primary school teachers’, evaluated daily and weekly vocal load in them by using time dose and also measured vocal recovery index and awarded Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology in 2015.

His research focuses on voice sciences and its disorders, Speech acoustics, Singing voice and Speech-Language Perception/Processing. He is active in mentoring under-graduate and post graduate students in Speech-Language Pathology. His is life member in Acoustical Society of India, Indian Laryngology and Voice Association (LVA), Indian Speech and Hearing Association and Rehabilitation Council of India.
